Nintendo has delayed the upcoming live-action The Legend of Zelda film to seventh Could 2027.
In an announcement posted on X, Shigeru Miyamoto confirmed that the film was being delayed “for manufacturing causes”. The movie’s authentic launch date was twenty sixth March 2027, so it is only some additional weeks.
“It will likely be some weeks later than the discharge timing we initially introduced, and we are going to take the additional time to make the movie nearly as good as it may be.”
The film was initially introduced again in November 2023, with a launch date revealed in March 2025 by way of the Nintendo As we speak! app.
The film is being directed by Wes Ball, the person behind the digital camera on The Maze Runner and Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes. And, just some weeks in the past, rumours had been swirling concerning the ideal casting for Princess Zelda.
