A possible Last Fantasy 9 remake may span multiple title, Sq. Enix’s Naoki Yoshida has advised.
In an interview with Video Video games, the Last Fantasy 14 director and Last Fantasy 16 producer was requested which collection entry he’d prefer to remake given the possibility.
“Oh man, that’s a brilliant robust query,” he stated. “The one which I want to make myself could be Last Fantasy 3, I believe.
“After all, I do know there are requests for Last Fantasy 9 to be made, however when you concentrate on Last Fantasy 9, it’s a recreation with enormous quantity. When you concentrate on all of that quantity, I ponder if it’s attainable to remake that as a single title. It’s a tough one. It’s a robust query.”
Last Fantasy 9 was initially launched in 2000 for the PlayStation. It was directed by Hiroyuki Ito who would later direct Last Fantasy 12.
The sport was re-released in 2010 as a PS1 Basic for PS3 and PSP, with Vita assist arriving in 2012.
In 2016, the sport was launched for cell and PC. It then got here to PS4 in 2017, and to Xbox One and Nintendo Change in 2019.
In 2021, a Last Fantasy 9 remake was considered one of many unannounced titles listed in a GeForce Now database leak.
