A controversial PS3, PS4 darkish fantasy sport is making a shock return after 11 years with a brand new entry on PS5 / PSVR2. Vertigo Video games-developed Thief VR: Legacy of Shadow appears fairly promising in its brand-new gameplay trailer, leaving followers hopeful that the sequence will make a full-fledged return to trendy platforms.

Printed by Maze Concept, Thief VR: Legacy of Shadow will launch on December 4 completely for VR platforms (PS5 required for PSVR2). However its VR exclusivity hasn’t stopped followers from getting their hopes up for a revival.
Thief is a beloved sequence that sadly fell off the map after its 2014 PS3, PS4 sport flopped. Then writer Sq. Enix dropped the IP in 2022, and it has since been underneath the possession of the Embracer Group. There’s now a glimmer of hope that Legacy of Shadow will put Thief again on the map.
“You might be Magpie, a crafty thief orphaned by Northcrest’s brutality and formed by the streets, who steals as the one means to outlive,” reads an official overview. “That’s, till you uncover one thing higher: a legendary artifact holding a legacy from the previous. Use immersive digital actuality mechanics to steal, evade, and outsmart the forces controlling The Metropolis.”
