There’s some extremely unhappy information popping out of Japan right now in regards to the passing of Atsuko Tanaka – the voice actor behind many main online game and anime roles. This was revealed by her son Hikaru Tanaka on social media – with Oricon Information noting how she was 61 years of age.
A few of her most notable roles included the voice of Bayonetta within the Japanese model of the sport, Chun-Li from the Road Fighter collection, Lara Croft, and the protagonist of the well-known anime collection Ghost within the Shell, Motoko “The Main” Kusanagi. Along with this, she performed characters from video games like NieR Replicant and Satan Could Cry.
