Greetings – welcome to a different version of Field Artwork Brawl!
Final week, we checked out Disney’s Magical Quest 3 Starring Mickey and Donald on the GBA, and it was a surprisingly shut battle. In the long run, Japan gained with 42% of the vote. Europe got here in second place with 30%, and North America bagged 27%.
This time, we’re going again to the SNES to take a look at a somewhat deep minimize: Weaponlord. Developed by Visible Ideas and printed by Namco in 1995, it was a preventing recreation that acquired pretty blended reception. It by no means acquired a sequel, although many consider that its mechanics would go on to tell the Soul Blade / SoulCalibur franchises.
It is one other duel this week as North America and Europe go head-to-head. So let’s get to it.
You should definitely forged your votes within the ballot under; however first, let’s take a look at the field artwork designs themselves.
North America

With a big, imposing brand taking centre stage and a fair bigger and imposing character within the background (with a second kinda coated up by the brand), the North American design is fairly badass, certainly. We love the artwork fashion too – very ’90s. Actually, we’re kinda puzzled as to why it did not promote so properly with such a cool cowl.
Europe

That is uhhh… completely different? Very nice use of color on this one, really. It stands out lots. Although the choice to not characteristic any characters is admittedly a little bit of an odd one. On the subject of motion pictures and video games, faces promote. There aren’t any faces right here. Until you rely the scary cranium within the center.
Thanks for voting! We’ll see you subsequent time for an additional spherical of Field Artwork Brawl.
