Ghost of Tsushima studio Sucker Punch says a PSN account gained’t be required for the upcoming Steam model, at the very least in single-player mode.
Following backlash over Sony‘s resolution to make PSN account linking necessary for Helldivers 2 – a call which has since been reversed – Sucker Punch took to X to level out that it gained’t be required for its recreation.
“Simply so you might be conscious, A PSN account is required for Legends on-line multiplayer mode and to make use of PlayStation overlay,” it said. “It isn’t required to play the singleplayer recreation.”
