Dying Stranding and Metallic Gear director, Hideo Kojima, is ready to headline GDC’s first keynote handle in 5 years, it’s introduced.
Titled, “Restarting from Zero: A Message to Creators Contemplating Independence,” the keynote will happen at the revamped 2026 occasion, which has been rebranded as a “Competition of Gaming”, and can happen in San Francisco between March 9 and 13.
Kojima’s keynote handle will happen on the morning of Thursday, March 12, and can replicate on the creation of Kojima Productions, in response to organisers, with “private insights into constructing a studio, growing initiatives, establishing a model, and connecting with followers”.
It says: “From early inventive idea improvement to discovering a bodily workplace area to work from and discovering world-class expertise to occupy that area, Hideo Kojima will share his journey, the pitfalls and the inventive success of beginning another time.”
