We’re now in September, and Nintendo has rolled out a brand new firmware replace for the Swap 2 and authentic Swap.
It is seemingly a small one, with the patch notes mentioning the way it has improved the general stability. Listed here are the complete patch notes, courtesy of Nintendo’s official Japanese help web page.
Model 20.4.0 (Launched September 2nd, 2025)
“Mounted a number of points and improved the soundness of the operation.”
In accordance with dataminer ‘OatmealDome’ there have been some small changes on the unique Swap. This is the rundown:
“Model 20.4.0 was launched. The patch notes lists “stability” as the only real change. On Swap 1, the controller-handling code and the net browser have been up to date.”
If we hear the rest about what else is included on this newest replace, or if there are any backwards compatibility fixes tied to this newest replace, we’ll let you already know.
