An intriguing new journey recreation is headed to the PS5 in fall 2026, delivered to us by the creators of Dying Come True. Akiba Misplaced is a “full-scale live-action recreation” that was initially introduced by Izanagi Video games on the Tokyo Sport Present 2025.
‘Zapping-style’ journey recreation Akiba Misplaced will launch on PS5 in September 2026
Akiba Misplaced will launch on the PS5, Nintendo Change 1 & 2, and PC on September 17, 2026. An Xbox model has not been introduced.
“Change between the protagonist Shinjo and 6 feminine characters to uncover the reality of the story on this zapping-style journey recreation,” Izanagi Video games wrote. Spanning roughly 20 hours of gameplay is the story of six women who vanished 13 years in the past in Akihabara.
“All of it begins with a threatening telephone name and the sudden disappearance of Aoi,” a synopsis reads. ‘Cancel the sport’s growth or the tragedy will repeat itself.’ Can Shinjo end creating the sport? Can he shield his associates? Who’s behind all of it? And what actually occurred 13 years in the past? The selection that determines the ending of this story is now in your palms.”
Akiba Misplaced has been developed in collaboration with Japan’s Nippon TV and drama manufacturing firm AX-ON.
