The primary intensive gameplay video has been launched for The Blood of Dawnwalker, the brand new RPG from a gaggle of lead builders behind The Witcher 3.

Developed by new Polish studio Insurgent Wolves, and revealed by Bandai Namco, The Blood of Dawnwalker is described as “a single-player open-world darkish fantasy action-RPG with a powerful give attention to story and narrative”.

The brand new 20-minute gameplay video premiered on Saturday reveals intensive gameplay for the primary time, as protagonist Coen explores a city, battling bandits, enhancing his expertise and ultimately, remodeling right into a vampire.

Dawnwalker is being developed with Unreal Engine 5 for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Collection X|S, with a launch deliberate for a while in 2026.

“Use your expertise and mix vampiric energy with human resolve as you tackle a quest to avoid wasting those you like,” a synopsis reads. “Face your foes – be they human, monster, or the ticking clock itself. However keep in mind – the true evil might bask within the solar’s gentle, and probably the most loyal of allies may lurk beneath the quilt of evening.”

Insurgent Wolves is helmed by Konrad Tomaszkiewicz, who was The Witcher 3’s recreation director and head of manufacturing/secondary recreation director for Cyberpunk 2077.

The sport director is joined at his new Warsaw, Poland-based studio by Bartłomiej Gaweł, who was The Witcher 3’s artwork director, in addition to author Jakub Szamałek (Witcher 3, Cyberpunk 2077), design director Daniel Sadowski (Witcher 1), animation director Tamara Zawada (Witcher 3), CFO Michał Boryka, and studio head Robert Murzynowski.

CD Projekt Purple veteran Mateusz Tomaszkiewicz joined Insurgent Wolves as inventive director. He spent virtually 13 years at CD Projekt, throughout which era he held roles together with lead quest designer on The Witcher 3 and its expansions, and quest director on Cyberpunk 2077.
