2020’s Cyberpunk 2077 has now offered 40 million copies worldwide, in response to its developer.
The information was shared through a publish on the sport’s official X (previously Twitter) account. In massive textual content, we see “40 million copies offered.”
In smaller textual content, the promotional picture states: “As of three July 2026 – Cyberpunk 2077 (copies of the sport offered individually and within the Final Version bundle).”
It was introduced that the DLC growth, Phantom Liberty, offered 10 million copies in CD Projekt’s Q1 2025 earnings report.
Again in 2020, VGC’s personal Andy Robinson reviewed the sport, calling it “an immersive and stunningly crafted RPG, which has raised the bar for cinematic high quality in open-world video games.”
Jordan Middler reviewed the Phantom Liberty growth in September 2023, saying, “wonderful important missions are complemented by a revolutionary 2.0 replace that makes this growth worthy of giving the sport a second likelihood.”
