Insurgent Wolves and Bandai Namco have shared console gameplay of their upcoming motion RPG, The Blood of Dawnwalker, which they are saying will run as much as 40fps.

PlayStation 5 Professional will goal the identical body charges and dynamic 4K decision, in line with a brand new video, however with “enhanced visible high quality” throughout each modes.

There’s no point out of a 60fps possibility for launch, which seems to have sparked some disappointment amongst these commenting on the video.

“[I] was excited however I assume I’ll be ready for a efficiency patch,” wrote one consumer. One other added: “I’d somewhat have the choice of taking part in it at 1080p at 60 fps somewhat than 4k at 40 fps.”

The Blood of Dawnwalker will launch for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Sequence X|S on September 3. The sport is directed by Konrad Tomaszkiewicz, who was The Witcher 3’s recreation director and head of manufacturing/secondary recreation director for Cyberpunk 2077.

In a latest hands-on preview, VGC’s Jordan Middler mentioned Dawnwalker “immediately grew to become certainly one of my most anticipated video games after 4 hours of play”.

“The Blood of Dawnwalker doesn’t really feel like the primary recreation from a brand new studio. There’s a stage of expertise within the bones of this recreation that’s evident from the opening moments.

“Whereas its developer’s pedigree is unimpeachable, ‘the brand new factor from the blokes who made the superb factor’ is never as spectacular as this.”
