Saudi Arabia has made a number of investments within the video video games trade during the last decade. In April 2022, Saudi Arabia’s Digital Gaming Growth Firm bought a 96% stake in Japanese developer SNK.

In September 2025, Saudi-owned agency Qiddiya acquired RTS, the co-owner of the Evolution Championship Collection, a preferred aggressive preventing sport occasion. In March 2026, the EGDC acquired a 5% stake in Capcom.

That funding spree could gradual now, because the PIF was reportedly working low on money after the EA acquisition.
