The Lord of the Rings and The Boys actor Karl City performs the position of Johnny Cage within the upcoming Mortal Kombat 2 movie, and now he is revealed some very blunt recommendation his kids gave him after he agreed to signal on for the film.
Talking to IGN, City mentioned he “positively felt the strain” to nail it as Cage, partly as a result of he needed to impress his boys. “I bear in mind after I obtained forged, I mentioned to my two sons–who I really performed the sport with, which was my first introduction to the world of Mortal Kombat–and I mentioned, ‘Hey guys, I will be Johnny Cage.’ They usually have been like, ‘Oof … Huge fan base. Do not f**okay it up,'” City mentioned.
