A preferred content material creator is claiming that Warner Bros. has threatened to “destroy” their channel.
ToastedShoes, who runs a channel that includes movies of Mortal Kombat mods, has taken to X to assert that Mortal Kombat writer Warner Bros. has despatched him a stop and desist to be able to cease these movies.
“This morning I obtained an IP Infringement Notification instantly from Warner Brothers stating that the Mortal Kombat mods in my content material ‘infringe’ on their mental property rights,” they wrote.
“I’ve been requested to delete all Mortal Kombat 1 movies from my channel or else they’ll problem copyright strikes and basically delete my channel in its entirety.”
Toasted posted movies displaying characters not featured within the sport modded into Mortal Kombat 1. For instance, a well-liked video of his (which has now been made personal) reveals Disney characters modded into the sport.
