Insurgent Wolves and Bandai Namco have shared a brand new gameplay presentation and story trailer for The Blood of the Dawnwalker, the brand new RPG from a bunch of Witcher 3 veterans.

On Tuesday, the pair introduced that the “darkish fantasy open world motion RPG” will launch for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Collection X|S on September 3, with pre-orders now open.

Insurgent Wolves printed over 10 minutes of footage of Dawnwalker, which it says was captured on the latest PC construct, specializing in open-world actions, whereas a brand new story trailer introduces a forged of characters that protagonist Coen will encounter.

A synopsis for the sport reads: “Fourteenth-century Europe is engulfed in chaos – bloody wars tear the continent aside, and the Black Demise takes a lethal toll. This second of weak point is seized by a clique of highly effective vampires. The time of nice change is coming – for everybody.

“You play as Coen, a younger man who has develop into a Dawnwalker – now not human, however not totally a vampire, sharing the strengths and weaknesses of each worlds.”

Insurgent Wolves is helmed by Konrad Tomaszkiewicz, who was The Witcher 3’s sport director and head of manufacturing/secondary sport director for Cyberpunk 2077.

The sport director is joined on the Warsaw, Poland-based studio by Bartłomiej Gaweł, who was The Witcher 3’s artwork director, in addition to author Jakub Szamałek (Witcher 3, Cyberpunk 2077), design director Daniel Sadowski (Witcher 1), animation director Tamara Zawada (Witcher 3), CFO Michał Boryka, and studio head Robert Murzynowski.

CD Projekt Purple veteran Mateusz Tomaszkiewicz joined Insurgent Wolves as inventive director. He spent virtually 13 years at CD Projekt, throughout which period he held roles together with lead quest designer on The Witcher 3 and its expansions, and quest director on Cyberpunk 2077.
